Although a deal has been reached between the UK and the EU there will be some knock on effects for BUX X and the way that we operate. But firstly it's important to mention that if you are an existing client you will be able to continue to use BUX X as normal.
As of the 1st January 2021, what changes can I expect?
- The majority of BUX X content will be removed from the BUX website due to restrictions on marketing.
- For a temporary period we can not onboard new EU clients into the BUX X app.
- Existing EU clients will stop receiving push notifications relating to breaking news or price updates on specific products.
- In app news articles will only be published in English.
Why are these changes occurring?
BUX X is a trading name of BUX Financial Services Limited which is regulated in the UK by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Unfortunately as a result of the BREXIT deal, from the 1st January 2021 our existing license will no longer permit us to onboard new seriousBUX clients from the EU. This is a temporary disruption. We are already in the process of obtaining a European license that will again enable us to continue welcoming new BUX clients soon. In the meantime, if you are already a client of BUX X, you do not have to worry! You can continue trading like always.
Until we have a European license, we are required to remove our BUX X content from our website, but rest assured our support site will remain online, and our support team will continue to be available through the normal channels.
Can I still use the demo account and trade with ‘funBUX’?
Yes, if you have not yet signed up to trade with real money, trading with funBUX will still be possible. This will enable you to enjoy the app and to gain experience without the risk of investing real money.
I'm a UK client, do the changes impact me?
UK clients can continue to use BUX X as normal and we will continue to accept new UK clients.
